Dave Newton is the full-time preaching pastor and elder at Gospel Fellowship of Sussex. Dave came to Gospel Fellowship in May of 2015 from the Chicagoland area where he served in the pastoral ministry since 2002. Dave received his BA from Moody Bible Institute and MA from Wheaton Graduate School, focusing on Biblical exegesis in the original languages and Biblical theology. He and his wife Shasta both grew up in rural Michigan and came to Christ after high school. They have been married for over 20 years and have two young children. Dave's passion is for people to personally know Christ as Savior and King by growing more deeply rooted in His holy Word.
Kent Millen is a lay elder and missions overseer at Gospel Fellowship, as well as a teacher of Bible & philosophy at Heritage Christian Schools. In 1998, he received his bachelor of arts degree in Youth Ministry from Judson University, and later went on to receive masters degrees in Sociology of Religion from Loyola University of Chicago and Christian Apologetics from Biola University. He and his wife Brandy and their three children reside in Menomonee Falls, and they spend time together hiking, playing soccer, and traveling. Kent is an avid reader, and he especially enjoys works by St. Augustine, John Bunyan, and C. S. Lewis. Kent also enjoys cooking for people.
Aaron Yuskis is a lay elder at Gospel Fellowship, and a history teacher at Pewaukee High School. He lives right down the road from the school with his wife Heather and their four children. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Cornerstone University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Aurora University. One of Aaron’s favorite authors is Tim Keller because of his Gospel-centered and culturally relevant approach. He enjoys backpacking and traveling, not only with his family, but also on summer trips with his high school students and the teens from the GFS youth group. So far, Aaron has visited every state except Alaska & Hawaii!
Michael Dick serves as a Pastoral Resident at Gospel Fellowship. His primary focus is on leading and directing the youth ministry. He has a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministries from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael and his wife Rhonda have been married for 12 years. They came to Christ in college and met at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Campus Crusade for Christ. Michael enjoys studying various subjects, reading, hiking, running, and mentoring/disciplining individuals in their walk with Christ.
Dave Mikul's primary responsibility is building and grounds use and maintenance at Gospel Fellowship. Dave has been a part of the church family since 2002 teaching Sunday School, leading a Growth Group and maintaining the building and grounds. He works as a mechanical engineer at a local company.
Julie Mikul’s primary responsibility is Mercy Ministry coordination which is geared towards meeting needs within the church body at Gospel Fellowship. Julie has also been a part of the church family since 2002 teaching Sunday School and helping with VBS and various other ministries. She works at home teaching the boys and volunteering with other organizations.
The Mikul’s live in Richfield with their four sons. As a family, they enjoy traveling, camping, hiking and soccer.
