Giving

Both the Old and New Testament teach us that giving is a vital part of our worship unto the Lord.  While the New Testament believer is not under the law and is therefore not under the requirements of the law to give a tenth ("tithe" in the Old Testament), we are expected to give sacrificially, generously, and consistently as part of our worship.  Our motivation to give should never be out of guilt or obligation, but out of joy as we seek to invest in the kingdom of Jesus Christ and see the gospel proclaimed in all the earth.
