  • How does God's faithfulness over creation encourage a posture and response of intimacy in your life?
  • Where do you find yourself growing distant from God and His word?
  • Where do you find yourself distorting God's revelation and work because of unrepentance or rebellion?
Sermon preview -- Isaiah 1:4-9:
  • Who are the characters and how are they described?
  • What is the reason for their rebellion?
  • How do we understand God's response in this? What reason is given for His preserving hand?
  • How are Sodom and Gomorrah used as an example and a picture? How is God referenced in connection to them?

Sermon review -- Ephesians 4:1-16:
  • Which of the 3 E's do you find most easy to engage in? Which is the one you find most difficult? How can you prayerfully and intentionally engage more?
  • What in your heart interferes with Exalting God the way that He deserves? How can you confess to and be prayed for by a trusted friend?
  • Which Equippers opportunities (Simeon Trust, Equippers classes) are you planning to attend?
  • How are you actively seeking to expand the kingdom through proclamation of the gospel?
Sermon preview -- Isaiah 1:1-3:
  • Who are the characters and what are they doing?
  • From what you know of 2 Chronicles 26-32, how had God's people rebelled?
  • Read Isaiah 1:1-3 and 66:1-4. How are the characters acting here?
  • Read Deut. 4:15-40 and chapter 32. What role do heaven and earth play in these passages for the people who are about to enter the promised land?
