Prayer for Week of 9/29/25

Prayer Passage: 2 Corinthians 5:11-15

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would submit to the gospel message leading to restoration of the gospel community.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Bob and Mari Paffenroth
• Rich and Sue Petersohn 
  • Sue and Rich met with a Movement Disorder Specialist on Monday, 9/22/2025 in consideration of Sue pursuing the feasibility of undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery to help alleviate the progressive movement symptoms of Parkinson's Disease (PD). She is experiencing more dyskinesia (an involuntary "dance like motion" affecting some people with PD). This will involve a lengthy and involved process of medical evaluation in order to determine her eligibility and the likelihood of successful treatment. Please pray for wisdom and a clear sense of how to proceed.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would submit to the gospel message leading them to restoration in Christ and entrance into the gospel community.

Missions: Mark and Laura Ambrose

Voice of the Martyrs: Mozambique

• Pray for Christians who have lost family members in attacks by Islamist groups in northern Mozambique.
• Pray for the encouragement of pastors working in areas where Islamist groups regularly attack Christians.
• Pray that the physical and spiritual needs of the more than 100,000 displaced Mozambicans will be met.
• Pray for a change of heart among the many young Muslim men who join Islamist groups.
• Pray for front-line workers serving in dangerous parts of Mozambique. Use Psalm 32:7 as a guide.
