Prayer for Week of 1/15/24

Prayer Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:12-19

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would be more and more led by the cross to deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Matt and Jessie Hustad 
  • Unbelieving family members 
  • Oliver, Ellie, Gideon, Haddie, Ruth and Lena to continue to grow in the faith
  • God to continue to give us wisdom from above regarding schooling choices
  • God to continue to bless our marriage
  • Wisdom for Matt and the Rescue Mission team
  • God to continue to use us at GFS according to His will

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Pray for Paul as he continues to prepare to come to the States this summer.  He and other members of the family are working on getting passports updated and visas processed. 
• Pray for additional financial supporters and churches for Paul as he looks to have more training sessions in Kimberly, Queenstown, and possibly starting a training site in CapeTown. 

• In rural areas, Christians who actively share their faith face persecution from Muslims, local governments, and the community. 
• Muslim families often disown their children who come to faith in Christ.
