Prayer for Week of 8/5/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Peter Adam: I would appreciate prayer for strength for Jenni and patience for me as I am starting back at Quad this week as we work out childcare.  I would like to give praise and thanks to Him who has been faithful and true throughout, to provide the opportunity to continue working, retaining my seniority, and for putting people in place willing to work with me until I can find a solution for weekend overnight childcare.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Milwaukee Rescue Mission

Global Missions: Mark and Laura Ambrose (Cambodia)

• Pray for the residents of Dhalia Dorm as they continue to receive the ministry of Mark and Laura. 
• Pray for the clinic to continue to help the women who come for treatment and for the light of the gospel to shine in the midst of their darkness. 
• Pray for Mark and Lauras continued faithful service at their church. 

Voice of the Martyrs: Qatar

• Pray for more Christian workers to share the gospel with Qataris.
• Pray for missionary families deported from the country because of their bold witness. 
• Pray for those who hear the gospel preached on Arabic Christian networks and websites.
• Pray for the establishment of an indigenous church in Qatar.
• Pray that the few known local believers will grow as biblical disciples.
