Prayer for Week of 7/29/24

Prayer Passage: Mark 2:1-12

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Praise God for a refreshing and encouraging visit to the States for the Karstens. 
• Pray for safety traveling as they head back to South Africa today (7/29)
• Pray for the ability to settle in and refocus on life and ministry both at Cape Town Biblical College and an upcoming training session in September. 

Voice of the Martyrs: Philippines

• Pray that cross-cultural workers will reach out fearlessly to those in dangerous, unreached areas. 
• Pray for front-line workers beginning work in a new community among the Maguindanao people. 
• Pray that a group of newly baptized believers will stand firm in their faith. 
• Pray for a group of young people who feel called to live and minister among an unreached people group. 
• Pray that a new believer will be able to tell her family about her new life in Christ.
