Prayer for Week of 10/7/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 7:1-14

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Praise God for his provision for two trainings that occurred these last two weeks.  
• Pray for the students of the trainings in Kimberly and Queenstown that they would continue to be equipped to teach the Bible in their townships.

Voice of the Martyrs: Tazmania

• Pray for pastors on Mafia Island who have been forced to move or had homes destroyed. 
• Pray for Christian converts from Islam, who suffer greatly at the hands of family members.
• Pray for pastors in Zanzibar who are falsely accused by neighbors and subjected to lengthy legal cases. 
• Pray for foreign missionaries, many of whom have been deported after having their work permits revoked.
• Pray that Christians in predominantly Muslim areas will be bold and courageous witnesses.
• Pray that Tanzanian churches will work to reach 30 unreached people groups in the country.
