Prayer for Week of 5/6/24

Prayer Passage: Mark 3:22-30

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would be more and more led by the cross to deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Milwaukee Rescue Mission

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Pray for Paul's daughter Tessalyn who is preparing for her first round of collegiate exams.
• Pray for  wisdom for Paul as he deals with a few challenging pastoral theological issues at Cape Town Theological College.
• Pray for Paul's upcoming training on the book of Mark with TLI in Queenstown and Kimberly in two weeks. 
  • Pray that the students would be able to attend and that they would be strengthened through their study of this gospel. 

• Pray that new believers will be discipled and rooted in their Christian faith.
• Pray that churches in the north will shine the light of Christ while being marginalized and mistreated. Pray also for those proclaiming the gospel in the north because it is a stronghold for Islamist activity.
• Pray for unity in the body of Christ as Malian believers endure persecution together.
