Prayer for Week of 5/20/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 1:1-11

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Pray for Paul and Marilyn as they finalize their trip details and agenda.  
• Pray that the time in the States would provide additional financial support opportunities. 
• Pray for  wisdom for Paul as he deals with a few challenging pastoral theological issues at Cape Town Theological College.
• Pray for Pauls upcoming TLI training in Kimberly.
  
  

• Pray for towns in Chiapas, where violence and civil unrest hinders church attendance
• Pray for the protection of workers in areas of Marxist influence in southern Mexico
• Pray for those losing land, housing, community and family for following the Lord.
• Pray for local leaders who enforce laws under which pastors and church leaders can be imprisoned.
