Prayer for Week of 1/6/25

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 9:7-10

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Marilyn is helping a lady friend named Marie who is struggling with cancer.
• Pray for Tessalyn as she transitions to on campus learning at university early February.
• Pray for the ministry training at Cape Town Biblical College. For my increased teaching load due to the resignation of Dr. Errol Wagner.
•  ⁠⁠Praise God for the new training site in Johannesburg that has been approved by TLI.

• Pray for Christians sharing the gospel through social media. 
• Pray that children who receive children's Bibles will place their faith in Christ. 
• Praise God that many Azeri Christians faithfully share Christ despite opposition and possible fines. 
• Pray that underground churches will continue to meet for prayer and worship despite police pressure. 
• Pray that many Azeris will receive copies of God's Word, despite heavy restrictions.
