Prayer for Week of 9/23/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 5:8-20

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Nathan and Kayla de Roos
• Michael and Rhonda Dick- Pray for Mike and Rhonda as they engaging their unbelieving friends and neighbors with the gospel.  Pray for opportunities to share the gospel clearly with these individuals. 

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Praise God for an excellent turnout and training in Kimberly.  20 students came and presented on the Psalms. 
• Pray for Paul and the TLI individuals as they drive to Queenstown tomorrow morning (6 hour trip).  Pray for a safe trip and good ministry with the Queenstown training.  
• Pray also for Tessa who injured her foot. She is due to dance this weekend.
• Pray for wisdom as they determine if they will start a new training center in Johannesburg.

Voice of the Martyrs: Syria

• Pray for internally displaced Christians in Aleppo and the northwest. 
• Pray for the few Christians living in the Kurdish Qamishli area.
• Pray for those ministering to oppressed Druze people in Soweyda. 
• Pray that the many Christian converts from Islam will grow in knowledge and faith. 
• Pray for unity among churches and Christians. 
• Pray for pastors and church staff, who are exhausted by war and unrest.
