Prayer for Week of 9/16/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 5:1-7

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Keven and Julie Brownfield: Keven spoke at a men’s retreat last weekend. Please pray for fruit from the preaching of the Word. 
• John Conatser 

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Milwaukee Rescue Mission

Global Missions: Mark and Laura Ambrose (Cambodia)

• Please pray their new house would be complete soon.  They have had many delays and  are getting close to our visit to the U.S.(see below).
• Praise for Hugh's profession of faith.  Pray for continued growth in Christ. 
• Pray for their church in Cambodia:  for the church continue to grow in depth of faith and love for Christ.  For God to raise up men to maturity to serve at elders/deacons.  

Voice of the Martyrs: Sudan

• Pray that God will silence the voices of Islamic extremists. 
• Pray that Christian converts from Islam will have peace with their families and communities. 
• Pray for recent converts from Islam, who experience persecution from their families and communities. 
• Pray for unity and harmony among Sudanese churches and their leaders. 
• Pray for the protection and boldness of front-line workers and for fulfillment of their needs.
