Prayer for Week of 8/26/24

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 3:16-22

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Praise for the Lord's provision for one of the training sites for the 2025 ministry year. 
• Pray for Paul's continued ministry to the students at Cape Town Biblical College, that they would grow in sound doctrine and be raised up to be the next generation of church leaders in South Africa. 
• Pray for the potential to start a Cape Town training site in Kyalitsha for the individuals who will be graduating from the School for Biblical Church Leadership (TLI training) in February.  

Voice of the Martyrs: Sierra Leonne

• Pray that the 90% of Sierra Leoneans who belong to a secret society will see its darkness, repent and turn to the light of Christ. 
• Pray that the women whose bodies have been mutilated by secret societies will find their value, dignity and wholeness in Christ alone. 
• Pray that God will break the demonic stronghold on the country and free countless Sierra Leoneans from the grip of satanic influence.
• Pray that Christians in Sierra Leone will grow into mature biblical disciples.
