Prayer for Week of 7/20/26

Prayer Passage: 2 Peter 3

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would worship the Holy Lord who reveals His glory.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Dave and Elisa Shane: Pray for the salvation of their children. Please pray for trust and spiritual growth in Dave and Elisa's lives as they continue to extend the gospel to their sons in word and deed. They are praising God for His clear hand in helping their son, Jesse, find and purchase his first home.  Also please pray for Dave as he travels to Louisiana for work on Monday (7/20). This just came up Thursday. While I appreciate the confidence placed in me, the job is for a customer's product line I have virtually no experience with. I have seen one of their control panels. That's it. Pray for a successful trip; that I would be alert to how it's working (which is to say it's not working right); that I would be able to come up with a fix. 
• John and Erika Stacie: We continue to keep my (Stacie's) mother, Carol, in our prayers. She underwent the removal of a cancerous mass from her breast last December and is currently recovering from heart surgery performed at the end of June. We hope for her continued healing and a swift return to her active lifestyle. As she is my son's only remaining grandparent, we pray for them to share many more years together.

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would worship the Holy Lord who reveals His glory.

Missions: Simeon Trust

Voice of the Martyrs: Central African Republic (CAR)

• Pray for pastors being trained to provide emotional and spiritual care to Christians who have suffered brutal attacks. 
• Pray that displaced Christians will be a burning and shining lamp to others displaced by civil war. 
• Pray for the safety of Christians who provide lifesaving supplies to those displaced by war. 
• Pray that indigenous churches will experience the love and support of the global body of Christ. 
• Pray that the faithful witness of Christians in the CAR will help change the hearts of Islamists. 
• Use 2 Chronicles 20:12 as a guide to pray for Christians facing fear and uncertainty in the CAR.
