Prayer for the Week of 6/28

Exodus 14:1-14 gives 3 powerful weapons to fight fear.  First, we need to remember that God is in sovereign control. Second, we need to repent from looking at the “strength” of our enemy and the “weakness” of our leaders. Finally, we are to rest in the Lord who will fight for us.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would find their rest in the Lord as they engage in the ministry of the church.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would take up these three weapons to fight against fear in their own lives.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

• Donahue
• Ferrand

Neighborhood:

• Pray that our Neighbors would truly know the Lord who fights for the good of His own people.

Missionaries:
Mark and Laura Ambrose:

• Pray that Mark and Laura would find rest in God’s sovereignty in the difficulties of overseas missions.

Paul and Marilyn Karsten:

• Pray that Paul and Marilyn would be strengthened and encouraged in their ministry. South Africa has returned to level 4 lockdowns.  This means that all schools, restaurants, and all social and religious gatherings are closed for a few weeks.
