Prayer for Week of 3/24/25

Prayer Passage: Ecclesiastes 12:9-14

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would fear God in a fallen world that we might enjoy Him now and forever in a restored world.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Zach Thompson
  • Energy and focus during a busy season for me at work
  • Continued provision for MRM, our staff and those we’re called to serve. That the Gospel would be heard and change hearts
  • Seeking the Lord’s wisdom in stewarding singleness well and in pursuing a God-honoring relationship in His timing - aligning my will to His
  • Praying for physical, emotional and spiritual rest, to trust in and rely on God as my sovereign refuge
  • Protection over my sister Abby’s pregnancy
  • Blessing on my brother Sam and his girlfriend Zena and their relationship
  • The salvation and growth of GFS students in Sunday school and student ministry

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Missions: Simeon Trust

Voice of the Martyrs: China

• Pray that Chinese pastors will be encouraged and stand firm in the face of government threats.
• Pray that children and young people, especially in remote villages, will have access to God's Word.
• Pray for imprisoned Chinese Christians. 
• Pray that Christian leaders will have the freedom to minister to their congregations.
• Praise the Lord for Christians in China who share the gospel despite police intimidation! 
• Pray for the advancement of the gospel in China by any means necessary.
