Prayer for Week of 4/14/25

Prayer Passage: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would submit to the gospel message leading to restoration of the gospel community.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Tim and Melissa Whitehead
  • We would love general prayers as the time we have left with kids is short so to use it the best way as God leads.
  • A very specific request: we found out last week there is a small tuber or tumor on Tim's brain. We're in a waiting period as Tim's case was reviewed by specialists on Tuesday (4/8), and he was recommended to a brain cancer doctor (nuero-oncology). To live on God's peace as we walk through another period of unknown and waiting and for wisdom for the doctors and us as decisions are made.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would submit to the gospel message leading them to restoration in Christ and entrance into the gospel community.

Missions: Mark and Laura Ambrose (Cambodia)

Voice of the Martyrs: Djibouti

• Pray that Christian converts from Islam will stand firm when their families discover their new faith. 
• Pray for the advancement of the gospel despite government efforts to limit Christianity's growth. 
• Pray for a renewed effort to disciple new believers, even though it is discouraged.  
• Pray that more Muslims will turn to faith in Christ. 
• Pray that Christians will live according to God's Word and proclaim the gospel boldly.
