Prayer for Week of 3/11/24

Prayer Passage: Hebrews 10:19-39

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would be more and more led by the cross to deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ.

Prayer for Local and Global Missions:

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: CareNet (Local Pregnancy Center in New Berlin)

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Pray for Paul as he starts a new course on the Gospels of Mark and Luke at Cape Town Biblical College the first week of April.
• Pray as the Karstens prepare the itinerary for our trip to the USA in June.
• Pray for Paul and the potential new members as Plumbstead as Paul teaches a new members class. 
• Pray for wisdom for Paul as he preaches at the Xhosa Easter convention in Khayelitsha, Cape Town (Khayelitsha is where Gospel Fellowship helped purchase a church building for a local church down there.)

• Christians cannot openly discuss their faith in Somali-majority areas near the northern border without risking the loss of their family, their livelihood, or their standing in the community. 
• In eastern Kenya, the al-Shabab Islamist terrorist group attacks Christians, bombs churches, and kills believers.
