Prayer for the Week of 8/23

Exodus 16:1-8 looks at 1) the presenting problem, 2) the test of provision, and 3) the proper diagnosis of the problem.  Israel was ultimately grumbling against the Lord which presented itself at grumbling against their leaders.
 
Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to lead and shepherd as individuals under the authority of Christ.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would encourage one another to see the Lord in the midst of their hardships and to continue to grow sweeter as the Lord sanctifies his church.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction for our current and future building needs and expansion.
• Pray for Mission Sunday coming up on Oct. 10.

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to point our neighbors to God who graciously provides provision for their needs even when they may not acknowledge it is from his hand.

• Pray for God’s provision as they travel home and reconnect with their supporting churches, that the work and ministry would continue to impact the hearts and lives of Cambodian citizens.
