Prayer for the week of 9/13

Exodus 17:8-16 focused on the Lord as our Banner.  Since God is a refuge we should 1) constantly seek Him as our refuge and 2) we must help one another seek God as our refuge.  
 
Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to find their refuge in God as they fulfill the ministry that God has given them.  

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would point one another to God as our refuge in time of difficulty.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction for our current and future building needs and expansion.
• Pray for Mission Sunday coming up on Oct. 10.

Church Families:

• Lenz
• Meisner

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to point our neighbors to God as the place of refuge in their hardships and fears.

Missionaries:

Paul and Marilyn Karstens

• Pray for the Paul and Marilyn to take refuge in God as Sovereign in the midst of the hardships associated with training pastors in South Africa.
