Prayer for the Week of 10/4

Exodus 19:1-9 looks at the 3 aspects that make up covenants through Scripture.  Specifically in this passage, the Mosaic Covenants bears the marks of 1) salvation, 2) obligation, and 3)mediation.  
 
Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would find joy and strength for ministry that flows out of the New Covenant of salvation in Christ.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship encourage one another to see these aspects of their covenant commitments and walk faithfully in them.  

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction for our current and future building needs and expansion.
• Pray for Mission Sunday coming up on Oct. 10.

Church Families:

• Miller
• Garret

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to point our neighbors to our covenant making and covenant keeping God who alone provides salvation.

Mark and Laura Ambrose

• Pray for encouragement as they continue on furlough, as well as, encouragement from time spent at Gospel Fellowship this coming Sunday.
