Prayer for the Week of 10/11

Matthew 16:13-28 teaches on the reality of that suffering will come for the person who has their faith in Christ.  However, God is good to use our suffering to transform us and keep our hands fixed on the cross where we will truly find life. 
 
Local:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to die to themselves, keeping their head, hands, and hearts focused on Christ.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship encourage one another to cling to the person and work of Christ in the midst of suffering.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

• Mohn
• Murray

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to point our neighbors to Christ as their only source of hope and life.

Paul and Marilyn Karstens

• Pray for upcoming classes for the local pastors that Paul might have strength and clarity to communicate the truth of Christ and that these pastors might grow in their ability to minister to their churches.
