Prayer for the Week of 11/15

Exodus 20:8-11 focused on the continual dwelling with God and worshipping God that was expected for the people of Israel as they observed the Sabbath.  The church also is called to find its rest in their perfect High Priest Jesus Christ and to set aside time to worship and rest in him.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would take time to rest and worship and that their focus would be on Christ as the substance for all true rest.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would be continue to encourage one another to find their rest in Jesus and to worship him throughout the week.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to tell our neighbors about the substance of all rest, Jesus Christ, and for opportunities to share the gospel with them.

• Pray for Mark and Laura to be encouraged and to refocus on Christ during their last few weeks on furlough.
