Prayer for the Week of 11/29

Exodus 20:12-14 focuses on the 5th, 6th, and 7th commandment. The expectation from the Lord was for the children to submit to their God-established authorities, for the community to not murder those made in God’s image and to refrain from not only adultery but any form of impurity.  Ultimately we break these commands from the heart and are in daily need of Christ’s atoning work on our behalf.

• Pray that the Elders would continue to faithfully parent their households as well as rely on Christ as the solution and source to love and care for the body.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would continue to encourage one another to repent and rely on Christ as they wrestle with the high calling of God.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

• Rodencal
• Sanders

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to tell our neighbors about God’s character and goodness to provide for his people and dwell with His people.

Missionaries:

Mark and Laura Ambrose

• Pray that the Ambrose’s would continue to rely on the Lord to supply their needs and to find Christ as the source of their sanctification.
