Prayer for the Week of 12/13

In Matthew 1:1-17 we learned about the genealogy of Jesus Christ. The goal of Matthews genealogy is to signal a new beginning with a new creation coming through the line of David and accomplished through Jesus.  It is the fulfillment of His coming that provides hope for this new beginning and new creation.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to find encouragement in the fulfillment of God’s promises in Christ.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship will continue to encourage one another to look to Christ who was and is the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

• Strange

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to show our neighbors the grace of God demonstrated in the coming of Jesus Christ through a broken and sinful genealogy.

• Pray that Mark and Laura would continue to be encouraged and strengthened as they look to Jesus as the hope and fulfillment of the promises of God.
