Prayer for the Week 12/27

Exodus 20:18-26 focuses on the fact that we need a Mediator.  We saw this developed in two ways.  First, that we are in need of a mediatorial spokesman, someone who will speak on our behalf.  Second, that we are in need of a mediatorial sacrifice, something or someone who will take our punishment in our place.  Jesus is the one who fulfills both roles perfectly.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to submit to Christ as their mediatorial spokesman and sacrifice.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship will point one another to Jesus who has borne the penalty of their sins.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to speak to our neighbors about Jesus as their mediatorial spokesman and sacrifice.

• Pray that they would be encouraged by and continue to share with the people of Cambodia the good news of Jesus as their mediator.
