Prayer for the Week of 2/14/22

Mark 10:17-45 teaches that we ought to receive the kingdom of God as children would receive a gift, freely, with eagerness and without paying Jesus back.  The rich young ruler becomes a contrast in that he is unwilling to give up his small gifts for the best gift.  To the degree we truly understand how Jesus has served us by paying our ransom price to give us this free gift, we will reflect his sacrificial service, especially within his church.

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would serve the body of Christ out of a deeper understanding of the ways in which He has served us.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would serve one another, striving toward the high calling to be the church to one another, old and new, opening our lives and homes as the new family of God’s kingdom.  

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.

Church Families:

• Abt

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to serve your neighbor so that they may see Jesus Christ who served them by laying down His life.

• Pray that Paul and his team would continue to have opportunities to serve the pastors in training.
