Prayer for the Week of 2/21/22

Mark 8:22-9:1 taught that laying down our lives to follow Jesus is the natural response when we understand that He is the Anointed King (The Son of Man) who will Suffer and Return in Power.  Jesus gives 3 commands and 4 motivations to teach and encourage this laying down of our lives.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to lay their lives down in service of Christ as their King.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would encourage one another to see Jesus and understand Him better as they live sacrificially for Him.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.
• Pray for how you might be able to joyfully give beyond your regular giving to the potential building project.

Church Families:

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to help your neighbors see Jesus as the Son of Man who suffered, was rejected, died, and raised on the third day to provide Life to those who would follow Him.

Mark and Laura Ambrose

• Pray that Mark and Laura would be able to continue to point the women in their care to Christ who understands the depths of their suffering and offers them genuine hope in His rule and reign.
