Prayer for the Week of 3/7/22

Exodus 25:23-40 taught us that the tabernacle was designed for a purpose.  Specifically, that the table signals God’s purpose to dwell with His people, not at a distance, but to dine with them.  The lampstand represents the tree of life, teaching that dwelling with God provides life.   We see that both these realities are accomplished by Jesus Christ when he comes to dwell with sinners, dine with them, and provide light and life through his incarnation.

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would continue to dine with Christ in His word and find life in Him.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would learn from Christ how to draw near to God and reflect that nearness to one another in practical ways.

Church Building:

• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.
• Pray for how you might be able to joyfully give beyond your regular giving to the potential building project.

Church Families:

Neighborhood:

• Pray for opportunities to speak to your neighbor about God’s gracious dwelling with us in Jesus Christ and providing true life through Him.

• Pray that Mark and Laura would continue to show God’s welcoming to dine in fellowship and the life of Christ as they work with those who have been mistreated the world.
