Prayer for the Week of 4/4/22

Please use this prayer guide throughout the week as you pray individually and as a family.

Exodus 28 focused on the clothing worn by Aaron, the High Priest.  These garments, however, ultimately point to the work of Christ which we stand clothed in.  The ephod represented remembrance; the breastpiece, guidance; the robe, holiness; and the crown, acceptance.  All of these are pointers to the role of Christ as our High priest but also to our continued service as priests of God to a fallen world.

Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

  • Pray that the Elders would be faithful to guide the congregation to love God and one another in Christ-honoring ways.

Church Body:

  • Pray that Gospel Fellowship would encourage one another remember the work of Christ and to live in ways that resemble His holiness

Church Building: (A season of specific prayer for the month of April)

  • 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, “We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints—and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to he Lord and then by the will of God to us.”
    • Pray how the Lord might first give you a heart of joy and generosity that flows from God’s joyful and generous heart.
    • Pray for how you might be able to joyfully give beyond your regular giving to the potential building project.
    • Pray that the gifts given to this ministry might relieve some of the difficulties of space and equipping that the church faces presently.
  • Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.
