Prayer for the Week of 4/18/22

Mark 15-16 taught that Jesus is risen. We looked at the backstory (the crucifixion of Jesus the King), the story (the credibility of the risen King), and applied these to our story (the cost of following the risen King).  The story is all about the risen King and what it means to follow Him.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would be faithful to encourage the congregation to follow the risen King.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would remind one another of Jesus death and resurrection as they experience the cost of following Him.

Church Building: (A season of specific prayer for the month of April)

• 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
  • Pray that God would give wisdom as we approach Commitment Sunday.
  • Pray that the church would give not out of compulsion but bountifully.
  • Pray that God would continue to give grace throughout our preparation for Commitment Sunday.
• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.
