Prayer for the Week of 4/25/22

Psalm 57 taught that the Exaltation of God throughout the heavens and His glory going throughout the earth is to be the desire of those who have their confidence in Him.  This results in the loving worship of God as savior and judge.  Jesus himself demonstrated confidence and loving worship in the Father when through his life and resurrection he took refuge in God, submitted to the purposes of God, and relied on God’s steadfast love, both applying His faithfulness to us and enabling our doing the same.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would be faithful to encourage the congregation to rise to God’s purposes for them and to worship Him faithfully.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would remind one another of the confidence of Jesus and the ability to share in the same confidences.

Church Building: (A season of specific prayer for the month of April)

•  Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.  Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
  • Pray that the Lord would provide whatever gift He intends to use for the potential building program
  • Pray that the Lord would be exalted by any renovation or building that takes place
  • Pray about how God would have you join into the work of the church financially as well as, equipping the saints and expanding His kingdom.
• Pray for God's direction and wisdom for our current and future building needs and expansion.
