Prayer for the Week of 5/23/22

Exodus 32:1-14 taught that we must come to terms with 3 foundational realities.  First, our propensity to idolatry.  Second, the Intensity of God’s holy wrath.  Third, our necessity of a mediator.   The greatest Mediator who intercedes for sinful men is Jesus Christ alone.

Local:
Gospel Fellowship:

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would be faithful to encourage the congregation to repent and seek Christ as they identify their idols.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would remind one another to seek the Christ, the mediator, as they confess their idols to one another.

Church Building:

• Praise God for his provision and pray for wisdom for the next steps of the process.

• Pray for opportunities to speak to our neighbors about Jesus who mediates on behalf of sinners.

• Pray for Paul who is running a seminar this week on the Eastern Cape, for the individuals attending and for Paul’s strength and clarity as he gives instruction.
