Prayer for the Week of 6/27/22

Psalm 23 looked at the Lord who is the Shepherd of His people.  He shepherds them in peaceful pastures, vicious valleys, and the divine dwelling.  Ultimately he comes to shepherd his wayward sheep through Jesus the Good Shepherd who takes their iniquities upon himself.

Elders:

• Pray that the Elders would be faithful to point the church to follow the Lords shepherding rather than their own plans, expectations, or wants.

Church Body:

• Pray that Gospel Fellowship would encourage one another to turn and hear the voice of the Good Shepherd through scripture, especially when wants and desires conflict with the direction of the Shepherd.  

Church Building:

• Praise God for his provision and pray for wisdom for the next steps of the process.

• Pray for opportunities to speak to our neighbors about Jesus as the Good Shepherd who provides, protects, delivers, and shows His steadfast love and goodness toward them.

• Pray for that Mark and Laura would continue to point individuals to Christ as the Good Shepherd through their church, the medical mission, and their counseling opportunities.
