Prayer for Week of 9/11/23

Prayer Passage: 1 Corinthians 12:12-26

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would be more and more led by the cross to deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Jason and Charlotte Allen
• Mark and Diana Anderson: Please be in prayer for their daughter Lauren and her family in Little Rock. On Wednesday they heard that their area of the city was hit by a very damaging storm after also being hit by a tornado back in March. They were without power/AC in triple digit temps for a night and their roof has significant tree damage. Please pray that the roof can be repaired soon. There are still homes unrepaired since March, so Lauren is not sure how quickly this will be possible. 

Prayer for Local and Global Missions

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: Simeon Trust

Global Missions: Paul and Marilyn Karstens (Cape Town, South Africa)

• Pray for Paul as he prepares to teach a seminar on Biblical Church Leadership and some of the challenges that comes along with that. 
• Paul will also be speaking at an Episcopalian church on Sunday, pray for him to have wisdom and to communicate the gospel clearly.
• Pray for Paul's continued training of 6 young men from his church happening this Saturday.
