Prayer for Week of 10/16/23

Prayer Passage: 1 Corinthians 14:6-12

Pray that we at Gospel Fellowship would be more and more led by the cross to deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ.

Prayer for our Church Families:

• Matt and Sarah Behnke: Our big prayer is that Matt, Sarah & Ruthie (our 4 year old daughter) love the Lord and share the truth of Jesus every day of our lives. We pray that it can be well with our souls, no matter our circumstances. Our family's had a fair bit of adversity in 9 years of marriage; in 2016 our son Miles died and in 2018 our son Paul died, and Ruthie has some physical health challenges. We're changed, hopefully growing into it and growing through it. But in a lot of ways we're still finding our feet since all of that has happened.
• Nate and Jamie Bogdanovich
• Brandon and Rachel Bollaert: We are expecting our second child in December, so we ask for continued health and growth as we prepare for his arrival.

 
Prayer for Local and Global Missions

Neighborhood: That our neighbors would see the glory of the cross as we deny ourselves like Christ that we might build one another up with the love of Christ. (John 13:35)

Local Missions: CareNet (Local Pregnancy Center in New Berlin)

Global Missions: Mark and Laura Ambrose (Cambodia)

• Pray for their settling in at their new home near Dhalia dorm.
• Pray for healing and recovery for Laura as she is suffering a bout of sickness again.
